Description

We are looking for a Test Engineering Intern to join the team in Austin, TX this summer!

Overview:
In this role, you will work with a highly motivated test team supporting Skyworks Timing Solutions. You will be responsible for creating customized tools to accelerate the development of test programs for Automated Test Equipment (ATE).

Education Requirements:

• Currently pursing a BS or MS in Electrical, Computer Engineering or related programs

Knowledge and Skills: 

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong experience in C/C++ programming and scripting languages
• Preferred hardware/software development experience within applications, or validation engineering
• Knowledge in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics
• Familiar with Atlassian's Jira and Confluence applications

Responsibilities:

• Designing, developing, and implementing automation tools
• Identifying issues and troubleshooting problems with software development
• Documenting test results by using scripting tools to analyze data
• Use of configuration management tools to document releases
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of ATE tools into the production process

The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.
